Terms of service

Clear terms for an AI operations platform.

WordpexAI provides AI-assisted monitoring, incident analysis, and controlled operations for WordPress sites. These terms explain what we provide, what you are responsible for, and how liability is allocated — especially when autonomous operations are enabled.

The service

What WordpexAI provides

WordpexAI is a WordPress operations platform. It connects to your site via a signed connector plugin, monitors operational health, generates AI-assisted incident analyses and action proposals, and — subject to your policy configuration and approval — dispatches signed actions to your site.

What you are accountable for

The platform is a tool that amplifies your operational capacity. The decisions remain yours. This is especially important in relation to autonomy configuration.

Site ownership and access

You must have lawful authority to install the connector plugin and authorise operations on the WordPress sites you connect. You are responsible for ensuring appropriate WordPress administrator permissions are in place.

Approval decisions

When the platform presents a recommendation for human approval, the decision to approve or reject rests entirely with you. Clicking Approve is your authorisation for the action to proceed.

Autopilot configuration

Enabling Supervised or Autonomous autonomy mode means you have configured the platform to execute low-risk and medium-risk actions without per-action human approval. You accept responsibility for the outcomes of those automated decisions.

Rollback readiness

Rollback features are provided on a best-effort basis and depend on available disk space, PHP configuration, and ZipArchive support on your hosting environment. You should maintain independent backups of your production sites.

Lawful use

You may not use WordpexAI to operate on sites you do not own or administer, to circumvent WordPress security controls, or in any manner that violates applicable law.

Autonomous mode — important

You are responsible for autonomous action outcomes

This is the most important section of these terms for operators who enable Supervised or Autonomous mode.

How autonomy works

By default, every proposed action requires explicit human approval in the dashboard. When you change your workspace policy to Supervised or Autonomous mode, you are instructing the platform to execute low-risk and medium-risk actions automatically, subject to policy gates, confidence thresholds, and rollback readiness checks you have configured.

The platform will not enable Autonomous mode on a site until a successful rollback snapshot has been verified for that site.

Liability allocation

WordpexAI provides the policy engine, the AI analysis, and the safety gates. When you configure the system to act automatically, you are the decision-maker who has authorised that configuration. WordpexAI is not liable for the business outcomes of automated actions taken under autonomy settings you have enabled.

If you are uncertain about the impact of a proposed action, keep the workspace in Assisted mode and require explicit approval for every action.

Limitations of liability

What we are not responsible for

These limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

AI accuracy

AI-generated incident analyses, risk assessments, and recommendations are probabilistic. They may be incorrect. WordpexAI does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI output.

Autonomous mode outcomes

When you enable Supervised or Autonomous mode, you direct the system to act without per-action approval. WordpexAI is not liable for business impact, data loss, downtime, or any other harm resulting from actions taken under autonomy settings you have configured.

Third-party plugins and hosts

The platform interacts with WordPress plugins and hosting environments that we do not control. We are not responsible for conflicts, errors, or incompatibilities caused by third-party software or infrastructure.

Service availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure incidents, and upstream provider outages may affect availability. WordpexAI is not liable for losses arising from service interruptions.

Subscriptions and payment

Billing terms

Plans are billed monthly per connected site. Downgrading or disconnecting a site mid-cycle does not entitle you to a pro-rated refund for the current month. Annual plans are non-refundable except where required by law. Free Inspect (read-only) access is available without charge and subject to fair-use limits.

Suspension

We may suspend access for unpaid invoices (7-day grace period) or material breach of these terms. We will provide written notice before suspension except in cases of security incident or legal obligation.

Termination

You may cancel at any time from the billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Upon termination, you can request deletion of all associated data.

Governing law

Jurisdiction and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction provides for a different venue. We will always attempt to resolve disputes informally first — contact legal@wordpex.com.
